Wedang Jahe & Serai or Hot Ginger & Lemongrass drinks

All three of Us have been feeling under the weather lately and the haze around Singapore makes it getting worse. Whenever I feel sick, this hot drink recipe always soothe me. Its relax and warm the body. It’s also reminds me of the drinks I always had every time I finished a Spa session ( OH I need that too)


  • 200 gr ginger peeled and bruised
  • 2 lemon grass bruised
  • 1 gula melaka ( palm sugar ) about 100 gr
  • 500 ml water


  1. Put all ingredients in a pot, bring to a boil and simmer for 20 minutes.
  2. Turn of heat and place into two cups and serve immediately
